  • If peeing your pants is cool, then consider me Miles Davis.

  • What comes after death?

  • Well, it appears that they acquired their capital as a company focused on a moral cause that people were excited to get behind/support and quality products people wanted to buy. It also appears as though once they achieved the goal of capital acquisition to a certain level (or they saw diminishing returns in the shoe business), they completely shifted their focus towards maximizing shareholder value with their acquired capital, and this would also appear to mean abandoning the customer base that put them there: people who bought the shoes that they sold.

It's an interesting example. It could, in theory, serve as a template: champion a moral cause to secure capital and abandon said cause after reaching the financial goal.

It could also be fair to say that they saw no future in the shoe business and the pivot was out of necessity. I would have to dig deeper, but this is as far as I go today, thanks for your time. Peace.

  • Keep going, get a reflow station and try some smd solder kits. Get all the solder kits you like, try chisel tips with your iron. Try to etch your own pcb.

  • No I am not. You are projecting all your stupid bullshit on me.

You don't expect me to read all that shit. I will not.

  • Okay, so where did I do what you accuse me of and what you are using as justification for this treatment: where did I claim to hold objective truth?

I never did. Everything you built off of that false premise is invalid.

  • Okay, so I keep asking:

    1. Why did anyone bother to reply to my comment by telling me that my personal choice is wrong?

    2. What did they expect to get as a reply?

    3. I looked at the rest of the comments and all the usual suspects were well represented. Why can't I have a single comment about 0.38 without it getting shitted up by imbeciles?

I don't have any problem here coming from my end as far as I can tell.

  • I didn't do any of that shit that you imagined. All I did was to share the joy of light strings and thin picks with anyone who would listen.

If you can't hear my song, it's not for you.

Why try to shout me down? Why are you scared of light strings and thin picks?

Go ahead, throw out my experience. What does that change now?

Overall, your reply here is aimed at discrediting someone who had the audacity to recommend light strings and thin picks and who also made the grave error of citing their history in support of that opinion. :::

  • Since you have figured this all out, please tell me why you replied to my comment. Please tell me why the other two replied to my comment. What is compelling you to shout down someone with a different opinion? There are more of you than the single me. Why are you afraid that my voice would be heard?

Why is it so important to a number of people here to make sure that someone recommending light strings and thin picks be discredited? Sounds ridiculous to me. No one is defending the behavior yet, but it persists.

No one has to like what I like. No one has to try light strings and thin picks.

That said, if you say something stupid to me, I might give you a response for it.

I also am aware that humans often times act out of fear, and here I believe it is fear of light strings and thin picks. What a silly thing to be afraid of, they can't hurt you...

  • Nobody pisses in my espresso.

  • You added zero value here and I wish that I could erase you from the record. I was not interested in anyone's disagreement with my choice which is based upon a lifetime of experience. If anyone would care to ask me why I chose that way, well, that would be fine with me and I would be happy to share. Why did you reply to my comment if it was only to disagree with my choice? I was asked to share my choice and I did.

  • I did not see it as a normal conversation, hence the response. If you want to have a normal conversation, I am open to that kindly.

  • I am doing great, thanks for asking.

  • Why did you reply to my comment? Do you want to make sure that others are dissuaded from trying light strings and thin picks? Pathetic. Its obviously a matter of preference you dolt. The post is asking us to share OUR PERSONAL FAVORITE YOU DOLT. You need not project yourself onto me,why are you panicking?

Anyways, thin picks always give more response and dig because they are more flexible.

  • Why did you reply to my comment? Do you want to make sure that others are dissuaded from trying light strings and thin picks? Pathetic. 33 years experience here. Keep trying maybe you get there someday...

Anyways, thicker picks always behave more sloppily than thin, especially with heavier gauge strings. This is because they are less flexible. This is a fact and not an opinion.

Sort of like comparing playing hockey with a pro style stick versus playing hockey with 3 or 4 hockey sticks fused together to make one thicker stick. Which one do you think handles the puck better?

Or say like if you needed to reapetedly strike a very small object, say 0.9 mm square, and at controlled intervals. Which would be a better tool, a lightweight, thin, flexible hammer or a heavy, thick, large hammer?

  • 0.38 mm dunlop; I also recommend you play the lightest strings that you can find. Not joking. >30 years experience speaking.

Judging from the comments, this is terrifying some less experienced players, they are truly scared. Given how scared they are, this could be fire. My advice is gold.

I used to fully wear out JazzIII picks, tried about 5 or 6 different kind and I used to love them. They are trash to me at the moment.

I used to play the heaviest Thomastik- Infeld strings available. Now I play the lightest strings that I can find.

I did not make this comment for up-votes, nor do I wish to win any popularity contest.

If I reach a single soul with the message of light strings and thin picks, then I am fully justified.

  • That looks like a sweet fucking game bro.

  • Fanfiction/Please permit me to make wild allegations, I was also looking at this yesterday and wondered: is it the apple of knowledge of sexual reproduction? (I know the book says good and evil, I get it)

The other tree was the fruit of eternal life. They did not consume this fruit.

So, as for the story, humans could neither sexually reproduce nor live forever/a long time prior to eating the fruit of the knowledge of sexual reproduction. Life and death. Good and evil.

They ate it, wanted to have sex with each other and were ashamed and covered themselves to avoid sexual arousal.

The free will they received was the ability to sexually reproduce.

In the story, angels cannot sexually reproduce with each other?, but seemingly live forever/a long time, and angels supposedly did get very excited that they could now sexually reproduce with humans: nephelim. Hybrids. There are no female angels.

Two different technology trees: humans with sexual reproduction and limited lifespan and angels with longevity/eternal life/angel powers/no females.

This gave the world a third (unintended?) hybrid nephelim class and this upset the balance of power on earth/the creation.

The chaos that ensued inspired yahweh to flood his creation and try again?

Wild shit! For me these are the chaotic and confused retelling of a story of extraterrestrial influence on the development of the human species.

This particular chapter is focused on origins and bloodlines of humanity so it makes sense to me in that way 🙃

    Thank you for your time.

  • Of course you can, but why would you do that? I believe that it is essential to understand the artist, the art, and their contemporary environment. All together. This is the deepest respect and appreciation that we can show to the arts. If you were to commit any error of omission in studying the art, that is your volition. Ask yourself: what is motivating me to make this decision? It starts and ends with you.

I wanted to add one more thing, I am sorry: I never cared for jk or Kanye to begin with so there is no conflict for me if I decide that I don't appreciate them as an artist anymore. I do believe that if you raise your artist standards to a high level you will inevitably do less backtracking and have less angst over this subject. Have more respect for yourself and for the arts.
