  • In all seriousness I’ve wondered if living that long would actually make you mature slower or at the same rate. It’s like Grogu in the Mandalorian is around 50 but still acts like a toddler.

  • I completely agree except for the disapproval rating. I haven’t done the math but I’d suspect that a sitting president’s disapproval rating affect tickets down the ballot. Although that may just be wishful thinking.

  • I’m sure I’m not the only one but I hate to listen to audio of him. His voice grates on my nerves, his thought patterns make feel like I’m getting dumber by the day every time I hear him speak, and it’s cringe worthy that a certain percentage of the population feel like he is an intelligent person.

  • We have one of these that parks just on the other side of the gate to get into the parking deck at work and makes it tricky to drive past sometimes.

    I also live in the middle of, let’s just call them salt of the earth people, and these pavement princesses are fucking everywhere. I’d kill for a train that goes by my office so I could just get on and not think about the 30 min it takes to drive there.

  • Depending on the VPN type it appears like a completely different type of traffic. GRE and ESP are different types of IP traffic (layer 3). WireGuard uses encrypted tunnels by encapsulating IP packets over UDP so it would be a little less obvious. There are VPNs that make all traffic look like SSL traffic but those are generally less secure. You could probably double up and create a separate encapsulated encrypted traffic stream inside the SSL but that’s a shit ton of overhead.

    Most energy sources trace back to the sun’s power through direct or indirect processes. Fossil fuels, wind, hydro, and biomass all originate from solar-driven cycles on Earth. About the only thing you could argue that isn’t solar is geothermal. But even that exists because some sun exploded created gas and dust that clumps together and forms a planet.
