I did upgrade to 3 and tried it out, and it did look and feel nice overall, but I switched back because it wasn't running as well on one of my machines (tiny old laptop), but and I haven't upgraded on the other for a consistent experience. I was also playing around with the python scripting, and it wasn't working in 3 at first (but I think they fixed that). I'll probably switch to 3 again soon, at least on one machine.
