  • why not completely black?

  • I know. Maybe I die too often, but it’s still the beginning :)

  • I mean going through your own room, Hades, etc. until you get to slashing again

  • Maybe it is me but I find it tiresome that whenever you die you have to go through all those rooms to start again - is there a shortcut?

  • True, I have not specified it. Yes, I mean the desktop mode.

  • Thank you for the explanation. I run everything at 100% then until SteamOS desktop mode also switches to Wayland.

  • Would be a helpful feature. I can imagine that this could be easily solved with a settings toggle or in the UEFI.

  • Steam Hardware @sopuli.xyz

    Different scaling on HiDPI monitor

  • That is interesting… does this have an impact on performance? Or maybe having less stutter or Freesync with Wayland?

Docked in desktop mode or game mode?

  • Isn‘t Safari‘s WebKit the origin of Chromium‘s Blink 😉

  • For Mac users have a look at Subtler

  • How does it run Office and especially MS Teams? I guess you can watch a YouTube video but not really game on that VM?

  • App Cleaner (app uninstaller), Wipr (ad blocker), IINA (video player), Subtler (converts mkv to QuickTime readable files), Keka (unarchiver), and LinearMouse (no mouse acceleration and separate scroll directions).

  • Thank you

  • Thank you

  • it would be for a PC and normal work/home use

  • Linux @lemmy.ml

    What Filesystem?

  • Exactly, you wouldn’t even need a dock. Power, video signal, keyboard/mouse attached to the monitor, etc. should all work when connecting the Steam Deck via one USB-C cable to the Studio Display.

  • Same for me too. When I first tried Vampire Survivors I died so fast and didn’t understand what the fuzz was about. I simply uninstalled it. But after seeing some videos and looking at some guides (mainly about weapon combination), I give it another chance. This time, however, it clicked after combining some weapons as seen in the videos. Quite a funny game after that experience and it made me think about giving other games or genres a try.

  • seems like it is fixed now (maybe because of an update), thanks.
