  • I'm not trying to convince you to switch to anything, but, all that sounds like I'm installing librewolf to then transform it into zen browser. I'm pragmatic, it works for me, I don't get the "features" I don't want and I only need to install ublock, suscribe to webannoyance ultra list and install sponsorblock. Profit. But you do librewolf if that's what suits you.

    Edit: typos

  • Chrome is shit, so is anything that forks from it. Untill servo or ladybird are ready for the show. We're stuck with Firefox. I tried libre wolf but half of my workflow/activities had issues (images didn't download or sites working bad), I switched to Zen and I'm happy with it. It may not be as secure/private but it's not chrome and it doesn't have all the Firefox shenanigans.

  • I recently took a look at latest Solus, it's a nice distro and budgie a nice DE. I feel like it's a nice option for those making the jump from Windows. Wish more people came across it.

  • I can recommend you take a look here:

    All about RSS

Lots of info, resources and feeds

  • This is awesome. Thanks a lot!

  • Not sure if this would help, but I found this channel helpful for understanding the basics and mostly avoiding wrong parts. Also he has some videos were he explains why you should choose one part over another.

  • Void with Xfce has done wonders to my atom cpu with 2 GB of ram. Also iceWM has seen a new release that might worth checking

  • Can this be considered lightweight? not complaining, just curious

  • A lightweight office suit

  • Ublock origin + web annoyance ultralist

  • You can try Void. With 4 Gb it should be a breeze. I'm rocking it on a netbook with an atom processor and 2 GB of ram and I use Firefox on it without any issues.

  • You can try Bauh.

    github

It manage appimages, flatpaks, snaps, AUR and repos.

  • Awesome! I would pick option 3. Thanks a lot!

  • Still can't decide which one to uninstall. I think akregator looks better but RSS Guard seems to have a lot of development. I'll keep running both.

  • O do this but with logseq

  • ETA iso, wen?

  • I believe this is the episode where they need to cut expensive, Marge or Lisa made a soap bar out of the left overs of many soaps. I can't recall if it was due to homer losing his job or they getting a new exotic pet.
