Not as far as I can tell. The curriculum is more rigorous where I am than it was when I was a kid, but the output isn’t better. Maybe on par if they really try.
Are you pretty much able to do everything you need? I don't even love using my phone but when I use it its kind of critical. Things like maps while driving. Does that work alright?
Cool. Currently I try to use Mobile Pay for everything, but the privacy is more important for me. I'm on IOS right but I'm tired of Apple and hate Google's privacy policies. So I'll def get a refurbished Pixel and try out Graphene. Thanks!
Teacher here: In my classroom I'm purposely moving towards pen and paper. Each middle schooler has a Chromebook and it has wrecked their brains (along with social media and phones that they are on outside of school.) You leave them to do an assignment and they will be on a game in 10 seconds unless you keep on them. Tech needs to be used, but right now it is killing any curiosity and stamina for learning that they have left.
It really comes down to how much you want already set up. Archinstall = base system with DE / Endeavour = base system with helpful scripts / Cachyos = Full System
All of them work. How much work you want to put in and how close you want to stay to Vanilla.
Were the codecs annoying in Kinoite? I always got thrown off because Aurora came with "batteries included" so I figured Kinoite would be a pain, but maybe its not.
I also wanted to try Aeon. I always had issues installing Tumbleweed though. But it looks super nice.
I want to try distrobox as well. Never used it before but I was just reading about it and thinking if I can benefit from it.
For some reason rpmostree always confused, but I'm the type of person to overthink things. Just using flatpak seemed easier, but I know you can pretty much just do that in Silverblue.
Billionaire being a selfish person? Who woulda known? But yes, even though he donates a lot of his wealth, becoming a billionaire is a sign of being a sociopath.
With Archinstall its really easy. You still need to be familiar with the Wiki, but its not hard. Tedious maybe. And running all vanilla software is nice. No distro modification.
