  • The problem with reporting on the DPRK is that information is extremely limited on what is actually going on there.

There are news website hosted in DPRK which are accessible internationally. The main 3 are KCNA, Rodong Sinmun, and Minju Joson. KCNA is the main news agency. Rodong Sinmun is the newspaper of the Worker's Party of DPRK. There are a few others. DPRK controls the .kp TLD, so every website that ends in .kp is hosted in DPRK.

These websites post a lot of articles about building project in DPRK. Today KCNA announced a new hospital opening. Yesterday KCNA showcased one of their new warships. DPRK has been increasing trade with Russia, so there's a lot of articles about partnering with Russia.

Although these website have English versions, the Korean version of Rodong Sinmun has additional articles. I use a translator to read the Korean version. The Korean version of Rodong Sinmun has many articles on international news. I've seen Rodong Sinmun do reporting on the ongoing ICE raids in the US, the genocide in Gaza, etc. Just this past week, KCNA mentioned the US not releasing the Epstein files in an opinion article.

There's also a DPRK television channel which can be viewed internationally, KCTV. There's a live stream of KCTV at the link below. KCNAWATCH (owned by NKNews) is a US company which is anti-DPRK.

  • redact dot dev is owned by a guy named Dan Saltman. Dan Saltman is the cohost to liberal youtuber Destiny (Steven Bonnell). Dan Saltman is openly Zionist and has tried to have all anti-Zionists banned from streaming websites, such as twitch. I would avoid using redactdev. I don't trust them to securely delete things.

  • DPRK reports that it is still planning retaliation against ROK propaganda leaflet scattering and that they found more leaflets scattered on Oct 21.

The DPRK detective agencies' investigation into the drones from the ROK is going on and the truth behind the despicable provocation of the ROK military gangsters will be analyzed further in detail.

No one knows how our retaliation and revenge will be completed.

Press Statement of Kim Yo Jong, Vice Department Director of C.C., WPK

Pyongyang, October 22 (KCNA) -- Kim Yo Jong, vice department director of the Central Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea, issued the following press statement on Tuesday:

The reckless infringement upon the sovereignty of the DPRK by the ROK military gangsters is a hideous military provocation that can never be pardoned.

Seoul will have to experience at first hand so as to know properly how dangerous act it committed and how terrible and fatal the consequences it brought on itself are.

A military provocation against a nuclear weapons state may be led to horrible situation, unimaginable for politicians and military experts in any big or small country in the world with their normal thinking to experience. So, there will be no such instance except one recently made by lunatics of the ROK and Ukraine.

Such deed can be done only by lunatics in the Seoul and Kiev regimes.

Seoul and Kiev are exact counterparts in going about begging and letting loose reckless remarks against nuclear weapons states at random without follow-up capability.

It seems to be a common feature of bad dogs bred by the U.S.

The DPRK detective agencies' investigation into the drones from the ROK is going on and the truth behind the despicable provocation of the ROK military gangsters will be analyzed further in detail.

No one knows how our retaliation and revenge will be completed.

A lot of political motivational rubbish sent by the ROK scum was discovered and removed in many parts of the DPRK on October 21, too.

The brute courage of the Seoul authorities to jump into fire with brushwood on their backs, far from reflecting on their conducts and being prudent, will bring the danger of destruction of all the scum. And they will be denounced by everyone else. -0-www.kcna.kp (Juche113.10.22.)

  • Twitch 30-day banned 5 twitch streamers, 4 of which are Arab, for making a chart which said that people who eat Sabra brand hummus are not Arab, as part of an episode of an Arab podcast called Ayyrabs. Sabra is an Israeli company and their Hummus tastes bad. Zionist groups, such as ADL, demanded that twitch give these bans because these 5 streamers promote antizionism and make politically Left content. Two of the banned streamers have family who are currently being bombed in Lebanon by Israel.

  • Obviously your post is in bad faith and honestly disgusting. You see a post where people are being silenced for supporting Palestine and you are trying to shift the blame to someone you don't like a personal level. You saw pro-palestinian and pro-lebanese voices getting silenced, 2 of these people have family being bombed, and you try to make this into an opportunity to stir up drama. You are gross.

All of the people who were banned are friends of Hasan and have direct communication with Hasan. None of the people who are banned would want Hasan to stop streaming. They like that he reports Israel's crimes to thousands or millions of people. It is very likely that Hasan is talking to them right now to try to help them out and possibly also talking with twitch to try to get rid of the bans.

  • I would add that despite these people being streamers, their communities also do some activism in real life, like participating in the antiwar student encampment protests and other protests in support of Palestinians.

  • Frogan, Vio, Denims, and Capri are all friends of Hasanabi. I think they're all Leftist. Frogan is a muslim woman and said she hopes that American soldiers get PTSD for helping Israel (based). Vio is comedy twitch stream, but I think with Leftist sympathy. Vio also lives with / is dating Central_Committee (Mike_From_PA on twitter), which is the second largest self-proclaimed socialist news channel on twitch. Denims is a woman on twitch who talks about some Leftism stuff. Capri aka CapriSunnPapi is Palestinian/Lebanese man. Frogan and Capri both have family who live in Lebanon. I think these are actually cool people, not vaushite people.

here's a video where Frogan and Capri talk about their family in Lebanon. They talk about their families being bombed by Israel.https://youtu.be/zrnc6j6zNy4?t=1501

The bans were probably lead by Ethan Klein and Destiny's community.

  • I don't think anyone believes that this stunt was meant to appeal to service workers. If you watch the stream, Trump interacts with people as if he is walking around a zoo. It's poverty tourism. The stunt is meant to appeal to people who enjoy poverty tourism. The stunt is meant to normalize treating service workers as if they are not humans. This is what appeals to many Americans.

  • This is about the word habibi lol. Basically like malding over a "who's invited to the cookout" tier list.

I would add that this tier list isn't about whether these people are good, or whether they are zionist. This is not a list of good to bad. I think the list is guessing whether people have experienced arab culture, but the people who make the list don't even try to be accurate. It's a silly and pointless list which isn't supposed to mean anything.

In the Arab category, you have Hasan Piker who is from Turkey, then you have his friend Austin Show. Then the 3rd guy in the Arab category is Nickmercs, who is one of the top call of duty streamers and massive transphobe and friend of Dr Disrespect. The 4th guy is Myth, one of the best ever Fortnite streamers and friend of Hasan. The sixth guy in the Arab category is Ishowspeed, who is a streamer who acts like a clown but also yells Free Palestine a lot.

xQc was put in the "arab coded" category, who is a massive chud and promoter of crypto gambling. Next to xQc is Kai Cenat, who was the #1 streamer on twitch for most of the year and attributed with creating the word "rizz", and doesn't ever talk about politics.

The first person in the "ask perms" category is Ludwig, who presents himself as like financially affluent guy but also converted his business into a workers cooperative. The 4th person in this category is Pokemane, known as the most famous woman video game streamer, who is an arab woman with citizenship in Morocco, but grew up in Canada.

The "thinks it's a slur" has Mizkif who is a edgelord gamer and Moist Critical who is one of those vocal fry drama youtube video essayists.

There's Ethan in the "Loves Sabra" category, but the second person in the "loves sabra" category is Mike From PA, who is the second largest self-proclaimed socialist news channel on twitch. I pulled up the video at this point and the people on stage are saying "let's put mike in the sabra category" and laughing. Mike shouts "I've never ate sabra in my life" from the audience and whole audience laughs. I watch Mike From PA talk about the news sometimes and Mike is definitely antizionist and he is someone who is hated by Ethan.

TLDR is that the list doesn't mean anything at all. It's not a list of zionists vs anti-zionists either. The list is completely incoherent. It was made as a joke, but it's sort of an inside joke that is only understood by one podcast community. Ethan is stupid for bringing up this list at all.

  • There are some more photos of leaflets recovered by DPRK here. The text is somewhat visible but I can't read Korean.

This link below is an anticommunism political group that releases propaganda balloons from the south. On their website they have photos of balloons that they have released.

    https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Fighters_for_a_Free_North_Korea

    http://www.ffnk.net/board/bbs/board.php?bo_table=mv

  • I think this is probably true to be honest. The crashed drone is mostly likely to be ROK government operated, but I have read articles about ROK civilians releasing the balloons. It's possible that the balloon was released by some liberal civilian organization from the South.

I decided to post the 2 articles together because they are similar enough and were released at the same time. The crashed drone seems like a bigger story.

  • This is another article that KCNA published at the same time about a discovered balloon carrying ROK propaganda.

Spokesman for DPRK Ministry of Public Security Releases Statement

Pyongyang, October 18 (KCNA) -- On Friday morning, rubbish scattered by a large balloon sent by the ROK scum was found again in Hwaam-ri and Munbong-ri of Phyonggang County in Kangwon Province and in Ryonghak-ri of Cholwon County of the province near the southern border of the DPRK.

The security organs in those areas blockaded and searched the areas and forensically examined and disposed of the collected rubbish.

The Ministry of Public Security informed the KPA General Staff of the results of the examination. -0-www.kcna.kp (Juche113.10.18.)

  • a few more photos

text underneath translates to "photo of crashed drone"

  • Haz has the same energy as Sid, the bully from Toy Story. He wants play with your toys so badly but he plans to also blow them up with firecrackers.

  • I don't understand this comment. The link is to an official press statement from the DPRK government saying that more people are joining the KPA.

Who is posturing? What is the posturing? Are you saying that the DPRK is posturing when they themselves are saying that DPRK is preparing for a full war with ROK?

  • kcna.kp is an official website operated by the DPRK government. DPRK made the translation themselves. DPRK owns the .kp TLD. Every website that ends with .kp is a DPRK website.

As a side note, it is known that the DPRK uses their own Linux distro called RedStar. If you inspect the http headers of kcna.kp, it says the web server is running on "Apache/2.4.25 (RedStar4.0) OpenSSL/1.0.1e-fips PHP/5.6.2". The website says that it is running on "RedStar4.0".

  • I'm not sure how far you want me to go back. The US and ROK (South Korea) do military exercises on the border of DPRK 2 times every year since at least the 1970s to provoke the DPRK. One of the larger military exercises is called Ulchi Freedom Guardian. During Biden's presidency, the Biden regime has been increasing the size of the military exercises on the DPRK border.

In July 2023, the US deployed a nuclear armed submarine to the coast of Korea. This was the first time since the 1980s that a US nuclear weapon had been deployed to the Korean Peninsula.

Over the span of 2024, there were several exchanges between the North and the South. The south would send anti-DPRK propaganda leaflets to the North by balloon. The North sent balloons carrying garbage back to the South.

At the 2024 NATO summit in July, Biden hinted that he wanted to expand NATO into Asia, potentially adding South Korea to NATO. DPRK has also released press statements saying that Biden is trying to create the "Asian-version NATO".

On October 11, DPRK spotted a drone in DPRK airspace which was filmed dropping anti-DPRK propaganda leaflets. DPRK has been telling ROK all year to stop dropping propaganda into DPRK. http://kcna.kp/en/article/q/d5483a1b74ad535c0736a5751b9e1bf2.kcmsf

On October 15, DPRK announced that it had confirmed that the drone was owned by the ROK and promised to retaliate. "We secured clear evidence that the ROK military gangsters are the main culprit of the hostile provocation of violating the sovereignty of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea by intruding into the sky over its capital city. The provocateurs will have to pay a dear price."

On October 16, DPRK demolished the roads and railways which connect from DPRK to ROK.

DPRK has been warning ROK to stop provocations for quite a while. The provocations are backed by the US. The US is doing provocations around the world by expanding NATO in Europe and arming Israel in the middle east. It seems to me that the US is trying to create as many conflicts as possible to maintain global power.
