This is actually one of those situations where the official stance is "we only give a shit on paper"
Originally they wanted to call it SEQUEL which was.. Idk, some acronym somebody else can look up but apparently it was taken at the time and people actually cared about that kinda thing in the 70s so it became "SQL" which was probably spelled out in business environments but obviously it was still "spiritually" SEQUEL
Now that I can understand and even relate (previously homeless, NC with one of my parents) so I get the need to cope in that situation, even if you know the statements aren't 100% accurate
Since the question was regarding hype, I thought it important to word it in a way that couldn't be construed as adding fuel to the fire nor feed into any sort of engagement baiting marketing strategies (thankfully this developer doesn't seem keen to do that)
The people saying they don't know what I mean also provides insight on the reality vs expectation of hype I was curious about
