  • The exhaust rusted in half on my old truck and made it sound like it’s straight piped.

It was so fricken loud and I hated it. I don’t understand how people like loud exhausts

  • I’d say generally yes. Of course, there are still assholes like in any country.

Cities are generally quite multicultural with people from everywhere. Every major Canadian city I’ve visited has seemed to be quite friendly.

I’ve seen people say to avoid Alberta in this thread. Generally, unless you are going to Middle of Nowhere, Alberta where their yearly tourism consists of a single person stopping by to get gas, you’ll be perfectly fine.

  • I’m pretty confident that if your vehicle caught fire you wouldn’t be able to put it out either way

  • A dump truck didn’t take a turn wide enough, hit the ditch, and fell on its side

  • This would be time for Canada to rip up the safe third country agreement and start letting Americans claim political refugee status

Edit: for those who don’t know, the STCA means Canada only accepts refugees if we are the first “safe country” they enter. Since Canada still considers the US a safe democracy, American citizens / people entering from the US cannot claim refugee status

  • Except it isn’t and you can acknowledge that fact without being a “fascist sympathizer”. If someone is going to draw false parallels, ignoring how bad the regimes are isn’t going to change that

  • So your solution is to… say that China and North Korea are wonderful, tolerant regimes? What is your point lmao

Edit: I guess it’d probably be to “just ignore it it’s fine”

  • I was actually misremembering it seems (I was mixing 2 bans together) I got banned for this comment for the ambiguous “rule 1”. It was a different community that banned me for being a “nazi defender”

  • I got banned from .ml because I said China and North Korea were oppressive regimes. Apparently that means I am a “fascist sympathizer”

  • One of the most common problems with communication is that many people believe it is easy. There is a reason professional communication courses exist

  • Instantly my first reaction too. Dude sawed a hole in his roof

  • If fascism is popular enough to win under PR, FPTP isn’t going to stop it

  • Thanks, now I can scam your family

  • As an Alberta, I’m not surprised

  • Solution: wolf airstrike

  • You know, I think it just needs one more lane. That will fix all the traffic problems
