  • This is what blows my mind too. I think of if Helldivers 2 was exclusive, pretty much all of my friends own it and (as far as I know) none of them own a PS5. Locking it out of platforms is just saying that they down like money imo.

The amount of times they just assume you know what it is and then you go into the comments and the only one is “care to say what Fast-MBysoon is?” So many FOSS users just assume everyone knows about their Microkernel-Based YAML Synchronisation Object Notifier project is.

  • Alcohol is sold in alcohol specific stores in Australia (pubs, clubs, bottle-o’s etc). The closest we have to it being sold next to the milk and eggs is a store attached to the convenience store (Woolworths > BWS, Drakes > Cellarbrations).

    Ok, so this (the review bombing) is definitely crap then. The thing about the those 23 warbonds is that Arrow Head still lets you grind for premium currency in game, kind of like games of old. Those warbonds add gadgets (weapons etc) to your arsenal that have very real change to the way the game is played. On top of that AH has been providing smaller story moments to the meta, interspersed with larger moments, really consistently.

    The illustrate that last point. There’s currently a small story moment ongoing that adds quite a lot to the game for a minor part. It adds a new planetary biome and alternative enemy that while not entirely new, has very different stats. In fact, I’m still trying to find a good weapons loadout (from all those warbonds) against the much faster bugs because my old go-to’s aren’t cutting it.

  • I remember being annoyed by a noticeable increase in the diameter of the cabin pillars of new cars that happened in the mid-late 00’s until I found out it’s because before then rollover protection was akin to prayer and new standards were the culprit for the change. Never complained about the reduced visibility since.

    A young lady I worked with for a while was in a wreck years ago, before I met her, that resulted in a rollover in an older vehicle. It absolutely flattened the top of the cabin and pinned her inside with a badly shattered femur. From memory she said it was 4 hours before someone found her. Frankly; fuck that. Give me a new car with a bunch of safety considerations, thanks.
