not called Brad but rather a lad, from Bradford in the UK.

Enjoys breaking apps, escooters, spam rings and sometimes bones, drones, but not my own. Because that sucks.

  • Aye, I'm all good and stopped using Nova after many years when the Branch crap came out.

It's the FB domain, and their many other bought out ones (WhatsApp nty) that are blocked at a network level here. No ghost accounts for me :p

  • Cheers OP for the heads up, sooooo glad I started blocking those domains a long while ago with OpenWRT > Tailscale exit node at home.

Frustrating sometimes since peeps link many charities and shit via FB, but easily circumvented via archive sites tor i2p etc.

  • Bummer, and sorry I can't be of much more help since I've never actually used AA. I can always poke someone I do know who uses it though, and see what they think 😇

  • Current phone is a Samsung Galaxy S10. Previous phone was an LG Nexus 5x.

I hate to be that guy, but that phone is knocking on a bit now and while I know the "if it works don't replace it" mantra is 👌it might be the cause of your issues?

It's on Android 12 I take it, and maybe have a poke around Googles to see if you're missing components which are causing it.

Something else occured to me - do you use a cable to connect (I don't even own a car so have absolutely no idea about AA.....) it and have you tried another if so?

I built my own Phone... because innovation is sad rn

  • They're reactionaries that think their VPN to the Houses of Parliament is some magical thing that they can monetize and control.

    And they can fuck off.

  • Indeed.

Reminds me of the Android Market Play Store and not being able to use PayPal back yonder and having to use a throwaway top-up, debit card if you wanted to buy apps. Ewww.

e: the online Safety thing can suck my plums?

  • Are you telling us we should put a bet on Charlie copping it soon? 🤔

  • I think it was actually DBAN I dabbled with firstly, and then like you Knoppix. I played too much later with microkernel distros like DSL / Tinycore, then Debian / Ubuntu's etc.

  • Yeah I was gonna say, Plex has a terrible UI and is why I stay away from that crap.

Jellyseerr thou is something even my less than tech savvy peeps I know just punch stuff into and making the Telegram channel make noises. I should really turn those notifications off.

tldr: searches metadata websites for movies and TV shows, and then adds thing to Jellyfin.

You can even then tell your *arrrr stack

    https://trash-guides.info/

to report things that succeed/fail to external services like Telegram.

What I do find weird is actually searching the Plex server I have access to for media

    https://files.catbox.moe/rugpx0.jpg

Like, I could? But what I like doing is abusing another family members fibre connection to request things for both of us, that then appears in their Jellyfin magically.

  • Yup.

  • Didn't stop me, either.

In fact, Jellyseerr is a game changer. Wanna talk about it?

  • No no no u, the person who downvoted you deals only in figuritwatts.

  • I'm taking these posts as Gigabits, and Megathreads

    Fuck the pendants?

  • Depends on your future proofing.

I've got a box with two 2.5GbE ethernet ports incoming, but it only takes one 1GbE or 100 Mbps device before that to bottleneck it.
