Note: I am not affiliated with Nathan W. Pyle, I just really like his comics! I only post comics that he's shared publicly to his Instagram and I make sure to leave his attribution in every image. Enjoy!

  • I’m not the author :) I just like Nathan’s comics and post them as he posts to Instagram.

  • That’s a great idea!

  • That’s correct, I’m not, I’m just a fan! I cross post his comics from his Instagram as he posts them.

  • Nah, I’m the creator of this community and the person who’s been prolifically posting the comic, I’m not affiliated with Nathan in any way, just a fan of the comics.

  • Looks like you’re missing a panel 👀

if i follow a #lemmy feed on mastodon, posts and replies appear in the chronological timeline, which causes a lot of confusion related to context

  • I think you’re posting in the wrong place, you posted this to the formula1 community on lemmy.world which presumably has no control over whatever you’re suggesting.

  • I’m so glad you’ve found them now! There’s a fairly small subreddit, r/nathanwpyle, which is how I originally found them. I have no affiliation with Nathan but I make sure to keep his signature in all the comics I share, and I only share things he posts publicly to his Instagram. They’re good clean fun.

  • He didn’t even post a time though, check again.

  • And since it doesn’t have to be published in any app stores, it can be updated much more quickly and frequently.

  • Yeah, I was able to visit about a month ago and absolutely loved it!

  • I’m available to help, lots of Reddit mod experience and looking to plug in more here! US Central timezone.

  • Do you have any specific resources or suggestions? I’m a software dev with lots of DigitalOcean experience looking to host my own instance. Also, can you log in to wefwef through your instance, or how do you access everything, specifically on mobile?

  • I never used any Reddit app other than the official one but I wanted to check out Lemmy as an alternative and I’ve gotta say, I’m liking it a lot so far! I’m on wefwef as well and it’s a pretty good experience. I’ll probably start contributing to some of the communities I’m interested in to help them grow and hopefully the growth continues across the platform!

I’m also looking into hosting my own instance, I might work on getting that set up in the next couple weeks.

Only issue I’ve seen is that it’s been a little slow here and there, but I understand that it’s in the growing pains stage so I’m not too worried.
