I dont think rpi3B can handle x265 encoding. rpi4 can i think. Or an Odroid is an option + coreELEC. CE supports entware and docker so you can install all kinds of stuff on it, for downloading torrents or whatnot.
It requires 2-step verification which requires a phone number, security key or google prompt for google accounts. Hard pass :D

You can use the official extension repo with vscodium. You just have to edit the editors file accordingly. I dont have the link right now, but it should be easy to find.
