  • While I kinda understand the steep price, not being able to use with other than Steam is a deal breaker for me. Yes, you can create shortcuts inside Steam and use the controller like that probably but still. On the other hand, I can use the old Steam controller even on a browser alongside with the rest of my OS.

  • It was possible to replace Windows Task Bar with KDE Panel at one point (could be around KDE 4 times) and it was actually hilarious to use Windows with KDE (Dolphin and all). Certainly made Windows less terrible.

  • That's relative to situation and also usually the easier solution to a certain problem because if you need to find a solution for your distro it might come to compiling from source. So, either switch to the distro recommended or just start from Gentoo for everything. If you're using Gentoo, no nerd will tell you to switch to another distro.

  • It was actually a tough choice but I went this way because EA systematically kills franchises while doing good things once in a while and I don't think Ubisoft know what they're doing. I would also put Epic on evil side but comparing to these 3, they seemed not as evil.

    Also not to forget: "Why EA is the worst gaming company in USA? Because Ubisoft is in France."
