I think every parking lot should be covered with solar. It could be used to help keep the snow and rain off pedestrians and help offset the electricity used for electric cars.
I've always said, my next car will be an ev. Well, I just paid off my 2018 Ford escape. My next car will probably be another compact SUV. Probably an EV. I would also like an electric motorcycle too.
Russia has lost over 1 million soldiers. Before the war they were already facing the consequences of years of low birth rate and very low immigration. Add to that before the war their economy was 80% of the Canadian economy with over 100 million more people. Low productivity, combined with population crunch, combined with resources wasted on war, combined with low immigration and no chance to improve that leads to economic collapse.

Nope. I had more 15 years ago. Now I'm in worse shape, older, more health issues. No kids, make good money but it goes nowhere because inflation is up and I don't even have my own house unlike 15 years ago.
I'm in building maintenance. It's not affected at all by AI. Most of the trades are safe. Basically anything which would require both advanced LLM and advanced robotics to replace.
My problem is that I can't find a single Linux capable phone with a decent sized battery (10000mAh+). Hopefully when Google does this, the Chinese manufacturers pivot to Linux phones in anticipation of the coming market for them.
Another case of agent Orange helping his handler, by giving him a bit of breathing room. However, due to the massive losses in Ukraine, Russia is long term screwed. They will face a population crunch in the next 10 years which could cause the government to collapse. In essence, Russia has mortgaged its future for potential short term gain.
It's brilliant on the Chinese side of things. Think about the PlayStation 5. Imagine they only released 49000 of them. Scarcity can build demand if they send top quality cars at great prices.
Invading or pissing off Japan, China or Canada. All of whom own a sizable amount of the US national debt. Any one of whom can dump said debt and cause a default on the US debt causing hyperinflation. With hyperinflation, they can't pay for their military and thus are dead in the water.
I'm here because I like the way the upvote/downvote feature works on here better than Reddit. Theoretically you could have equal upvotes and downvotes on a post on Reddit and it would look like there is almost no engagement at all. Here it's far more honest.
