“President of Signal getting paid less than a principal engineer” must be the take here.
The same argument applies to Wikipedia: it’s a blessing these people accept working for <1M. They could easily get a job for triple the salary elsewhere but choose to forfeit it for principles.
I use the audio rooms feature with some friends quite a lot, where anyone can join and leave. Don’t know the official name. What’s an alternative for that? Will stoat work?
I usually look at it from cost per hour perspective. Tears of the Kingdom was 70 but I played it for ~140 hours, so 0.5 per hour. I’m ok with 1 per hour too but anything higher I start to ask myself “is the developer / publisher worth my support?”. Not all games can be judged by this metric though (eg outer wilds, unpacking)
So far, nothing beats the value of factorio. Mindustry (being so cheap) is a close second.
I might actually use this as my primary phone (I agree with others who say marketing this as a 2nd phone was a mistake) if it gets e/os/ or grapheneos support
I’m not American so can someone clarify 2nd amendment in this context for me? Can someone actually shoot an ICE agent and evoke 2nd amendment as a defense? How does it work? What about the state’s monopoly on violence?
IMO it should be compared to the pro controllers, since it has back buttons and Hall effect sticks
