  • Most definitions use 2011-2013 as starting range for Gen Alpha, so the older Gen Alpha kids are 13-15

  • Very few people irl know my actual political beliefs because I water them down constantly in order to make them sound more socially acceptable

  • Imagine if like 5% or so of people in a Grocery store acted like he does. Would be so much easier to actually steal something with security being busy all the time with the non-stealers

  • I 100% don't understand the thought process here at all. Why did they think this would make sense?

  • The dialogs are so horrific that parts of the movies are borderline unwatchable. Nothing makes sense in the context of the movies, basically the Clone Wars series had to fix the whole story because nobody acts believably in the movies. The action scenes (aside from Yoda vs. Palpatine and the Pod Racing) are unbelievably boring because they are not staged well, you are supposed to find the action scenes engaging just because a lot of shit happens, there's no proper thought behind it.

  • That guy looks like he's about to go on an Ayahuasca retreat to help make his career decisions

  • That's not tech, that's policy. Technologically there are no holdups to this, capitalism just needs it to not be so

  • Good synthetic meat exists, it's just more expensive to produce so you usually can't buy it at like a corner store or something

  • There is never just one political message for an entire TV series. You can go much more granular with this stuff. One blatantly obvious example off the top of my mind is the episode "Squidville". Messages here are "Diversity and differences are good. A life where everyone is the same would be boring and tedious" and "You're not better than other people just because you are different"

  • It took me like a full minute to remember English-speakers can't say the phonetic [x] or [χ] sounds.

  • It's so funny how the Broncos invest in a window that was probably never there in the first place with Bo Nix at the helm

  • In Germany it's just primary school teachers. For secondary school teachers, I think the wages are solid. The working conditions are still absolutely shit which is why I turned away from the profession (at least for now). But the wages are not the problem there.

  • If Great A'Tuin was real I believe by now it would have been annoyed enough to throw us all off

  • Flirting with my beautiful, smart and altogether amazing wife back when we were just associates. I congratulate myself on that brilliant idea every day.
