  • Part of the sale issue for me, is that I sometimes already own these deep discount games. It makes it feel like there are less good deals.

Also some new games have what I consider to be really high base prices, so a 60% discount is still not near the impulse buy range.

  • At least those are not contradictory. Imagine being told that someone was dusting a room. Well that is removing small particles! But if you are dusting some icing sugar on a cake, you are adding it!

  • Nanaimo barius

Good job Canadians, they are nice.

  • For the record I always thought the 3dfx glide render looked the best, d3d and open gl were kinda a bit blurry. I think these days it shows it up even more as not being a d3d first engine. I think Deus ex probably suffered from the same fortune.

  • An easy option is to add the data folders for the container you are using as a volume mapped to a local folder. Then the container will just put the files there and you can backup the folder. Restore is just put the files back there, then make sure you set the same volume mapping so the container already sees them.

You can also use the same method to access the db directory for the migration. Typically for databases you want to make sure the container is stopped before doing anything with those files.

  • So you'll need to be licensed for each core on you phone that could run tiktok?

  • According to the embed, Stuart McLean. Not head of them before, it's a 40 minute video essay.

  • They keep multiple old passwords. You've done this whole stick before and you tried to use that same password last time. You use it for everything, and every time your new account gets "hacked." You keep using that password even when we show you that it's been in multiple leeks and is associated with your email.

"But I like the password, it's my favourite football team!"

  • Strange that a council would be forced to build something suddenly.

In order to go ahead with road construction

Ah so not "forced," they just don't like the cost required to build a road that is disruptive to a natural area.

  • What is the server are they on?

If they are just on a windows server, then the indexing service is actually good for fast results on a network share. If it's a windows 10/11 pc, I think you need to enable classic search for it to provide results to clients over the network.

Alternatively I believe everything (the program) supports indexing network locations.

  • So this reinforcers my policy of not buying Samsung. They really do just retroactively add ads to every product with a screen.

  • I mean they dropped the parts of ip4 that are not used. They only multiplied the number of bits by 4, otherwise it's the exact same ideas. The confusing part might be that a device gets multiple addresses off the bat. Using decimal for 128 bits would have made the address even worse.

  • Probably not worth pirating, will still run like crap.

Forgetting about it is probably the best insult you can give it.

  • As someone else who used to host via an open port, you get random connections all the time. Almost constantly and the request paths make it obvious they are scanning for vulnerabilities. Via cloud flare the number of those requests is much lower, as they have to know at least the DNS to do so, (and can't guess it from a presented SSL cert.)

  • They ran a bunch of full page adds this summer. All it said was "no one can see your messages but you." I immediately decided that was not true, otherwise why advertise it?

  • Have they tested it some back pockets? I remember last time apple made a thinest phone.

  • Jellyfin doesn't even have write access to my files. If they can get access into the container's process then I guess they could add stuff to the web interface which could contain bad stuff.

  • Yea the decision to ban it went through so fast it was hard to have a defence, but the appeals are all delayed now they have one.

  • Usually it's just fenced off and people can still see it. Makes me think some one was upset with it.
