Iirc Amazon has a special tooling for creating iot devices. It's supposed to make creating the communication easier so you don't have a bunch badly implemented communication systems. Ofc it uses Amazon's cloud.
I would not be surprised if they all failed this way due to using the tool. As in the Dev's code might not even get to know there was an outage, and the tool just keeps telling it the last state it got.
At this point in time your email is your identity. If you feel up to it, you can buy your own domain and set it up with proton or any other email provider. It won't help you just now, but if you want to move in the future it means you can change provider and emails will just go to the new location.

Live and neutral are typically not interchangeable. fuses should be on the live cables so that over current is stopped on the way in. Plugging in the wrong way means that a blown fuse might stop current, but the device could still be at live voltages and be dangerous.

Note that you need to use disk space to describe where all the slices of a file are. There are some limitations to how many pieces your files can be in. Not sure on exFATs limit, but on NTFS I know it's a soft cap around 1.5 million parts.

I liked mad max, and if you enjoy the volition open world format you'll like them game. For that pice though it's probably worth it if you only play the first few hours.
I think having played shapes.io to completion, it didn't feel like the progress was any different in 2. Just more of the same, made it harder to get into for me I think. Also the new mechanics (other than layers) feel far away during the first save.
