  • Exactly some. We are so tight on ipv6 adresses a /48 would be ludicrous. Imagine me wanting some local networks.

This is something where ipv4 is actually better for my use. Also I have to hardcode the ipv6 prefix in so many applications and services - I dread ever getting a different prefix.

  • My wired carrier only gives me a /60 for ipv6 and they can't do reverse DNS entries for ipv6. :(

At least I get an ipv6.

  • Wait for a 16.

Thanks for listening to my TED ed talk.

  • 4 in 1?

    I use a 6 in 1!

  • Often OEMs pay for windows if you buy a prebuilt or a laptop. So you might pay Microsoft indirectly.

  • Are you left handed?

  • Oh man. I hope Dolby looses. Patents are way too long and benefit so few that I think they shouldn't be justified/exist in society. Also some stuff should be decided in court to be essential technology and patents/claims should then be dissolved/voided.

  • The Clock Man by Shel Silverstein

“How much will you pay for an extra day?” The clock man asked the child.

“Not one penny,” the answer came.

“For my days are as many as my smiles.”

“How much will you pay for an extra day?” He asked when the child was grown.

“Maybe a dollar or maybe less, for I’ve plenty of days of my own.”

“How much will you pay for an extra day?” He asked when the time came to die.

“All of the pearls in all of the seas, and all of the stars in the sky.”

  • I like the movie and atmosphere but damn the villains are whack

I wish there were some spinoff or something similar.

  • Actually monero is the only crypto that I consider useful even though it is POW. At least it provides advantages like privacy for its POW. Also there are more and more digital services accepting monero as payment. Bitcoin is POW and gives no value in return. In this regard Etherium is better imo too but still no privacy.

The main problem with monero is that running a pruned node needs like 80Gb of storage.

Grin/Mimblewimble might also be cool but I haven't looked into it too much yet.

  • If you think about it, it actually increases the value since it has "experience".

  • My fridge has some. My monitors used to have some too but those damn new thin bezels. :why_holding_up_hands_and_looking_up_in_slight_anger:
