  • "...it automatically makes your picture fine art."

🤣😂🤣😂🤣 Of course it does, Hobbes!

  • I wanna say, "sarcasm?" 👏👏👏 At least, that's how I'm reading it.

  • Work IS for suckers. ❤️

  • Where in does my post does it say, "WARNING: Sage Advice. To be taken literally. Do not take with snark, sarcasm or facetiousness."

    Relax. You'll live longer. 🤝

  • "Abstaining from heavy drinking, eating unhealthy foods, smoking and womanizing may not make you live longer...

...but it'll sure seem like it."

Recalled as best as possible from unremembered source. 🤷‍♂️ Sosumi

  • ...and then you drop at 57 for something nobody could see coming. 😁 You pick which immunodeficiency, neurodegenerative or oncological problem.

1000 push-ups a day ain't gonna save you from dementia.

Then again, people are living well into their nineties...but given what I've seen, I'm not so sure they feel better, regardless of their exercise regime, past or present.

    It's a wiggly world, friend. 🤝

  • Love it, Snoke! 🎨🖼️ ❤️ Thanks!

  • "The community has voted. Please now go to! television@lemm.ee" Do you remember that bullshit, Blaze? Suggesting to that other...person whose name escapes me...to ping EVERYONE in moviesandtv, television and who knows who else?

What's with the near-constant, spectrum-level SPAM? "Monthly reminder"? It's SPAM. It now appears you and your cronies (but mostly YOU) just wanna herd people over to !movies@piefed.social as if there's only tumbleweeds and no participation in this community. You are chasing people away from every community you SPAM. Why can you not see this?

First with that bullshit about spamming every subscribed member of that moviesandtv community (and not being able to discern the difference) and now recently you add NOTHING to the conversation other than "join movies@piefed.social! Look at me! Join movies@piefed.social! Look at me! Join movies@piefed.social!"

At first, and I'm talking a while ago, it was almost endearing, your raging enthusiasm for the Lemmy environment. Now you're just shown yourself annoying, manic and incessant. Monthly reminder? Just knock it off, shut off the cellphone for a day and go outside.

I apologize if this post seems harsh but these things needed to be said for a while now.

  • Bartel's Eating Raoul could be considered a horror film as much as (either) Little Shop of Horrors. I don't know. Both are more black comedies more than straight-out horror, like, say, Cohen's It's Alive or Deodato's Cannibal Holocaust.Depends on your level of pedantry. 🤓🤣

In any case, thanks for reminding me of that one—how could I forget it? A great film which I haven't seen in far too long! 🤝

  • Yeah, Carpenter's The Thing. Great movie.

How about Raimi's The Evil Dead? We were screaming like little girls during that one!

    Or Basket Case?

  • I yell "WAKE UP!" to phone zombies walking straight for me...

...noooo, I would never be so cruel 🤔...or would I? 😈

  • Oh, allow an old type fetishist (I've since had therapy) a moment to say how I just loved those Filmotype phototypefaces. ❤️🕴️🥰❤️

  • So that's where the POTUS learned that trick from! 🇺🇸 😵‍💫🐔

Seems to have worked on at least 51% of the country.

  • I am compelled to add my €0.02.

They say one should never wish death upon another human being but today we have one of the few exceptions.

    *spits on the ground*

Never rest, but stay in an eternal state of torment.

Now I am only waiting for the infantile/senile madmen who call themselves our "leaders" to drop like the flies they are.

    As you were.

  • OUCH!!! BURN!!! 🔥

    🤦‍♂️

Thanks for the info, though 👍

  • We can only hope history repeats itself soon. 😒
