  • So far I've loved every tv show Taika Waititi has been involved with, and many of them I've only found out when checking "ok, what else has he done" on wikipedia. Most recently, Reservation Dogs and Our Flag Means Death.

    Also, I think there are many canadian tv shows that are really good and deserve a wider global audience: like Heated Rivalry, 19-2 (the original one in French) and Happily Married (C'est comme ça que je t'aime).

  • I'm old enough that the first kind of "web search" that I used were manually compiled website directories. Some are still around, maybe try a few and see if you like them.   • It's a great show, at least the earlier seasons. And (from my limited perspective as a clueless outsider) seemed to represent native culture and integrate it into the storyline in a very natural and non-otherizing way.

  • Remote functions look great! Glad to see they went a similar route to telefunc, which is what I've been using to fill this gap. It's pretty good already, but of course if I can drop a dependency, that's a win.
