  • I installed Gamescope and Heroic instantly recognized it. I also enabled force grab mouse and in game it still does not work. the camera is bounded to the arrow keys which makes me think is the prob. I cannot unbound them nor set them to mouse movements. I can however set it to scroll and my side buttons which is lowkey an ugly solution.

  • I tested SteamDeck=1 as it can alleviate some problems with certain games. Marvel Rivals wouldn't launch w/o it. so I thought perhaps it's a thing w the GOWR not recognizing mouse movements through Proton. ofc SteamDeck=1 runs the game in Steam Deck mode but for the sake of testing fuck it.

    I tested w my DS4 and the game was working fine just w M&K does mouse panning not work.

  • no no no. not on the Deck. I'm on desktop Arch (I forgot to mention). all other games I've played were totally fine. just finished God of War 2018 the day b4 yesterday.

    I read on Reddit somewhere that just for this game they're doing M&K to controller emulation.

  • I clicked RMB and LMB and Kratos does the attack animation but after that still locked to the same camera angle.
