My favorite so far was the game samer (Roulette 2), because that idea allows the comedians' talents to shine through. Josh killed it in that one.

Is self-hosting safe, and if so, where do I start?

Well, as everything, it is safe is you do it right. If you are just starting, you could try running some services in LAN, or if you don't have the hardware, a cheap VPS with VPN or some other tunneling. That way, you're not exposing your data to the wider internet.

Of course, you should keep backups of everything you deem important, and once you start feeling more comfortable, you may try opening up your services with a reverse proxy (caddy, nginx) and some authentication (authelia, authentik). You can try hosting simple things, things that expect to be open to the internet, like a game server.

If you're limited by your hardware, you can start planning to buy something bigger. But I don't recommend it to just get started; you can do a lot of learning with basic hardware (and the prices are crazy right now too).

Edit: seconded what ghost_laptop said, an e-mail server is kind of the hardest there is for self-hosting. There are solutions like mailcow, but even that is very hard to set up.

Literally just copying the game folder. I compress it as much as I can with 7zip and I put it on gameyfin. It works for games that don't have DRM*

Gameyfin is just for metadata and to download the games, it doesn't actually get them for you.

*For some games you need to do something extra. If you're interested I recommend you this resource.

Games with tons of replayability, where I have already spent a ton of hours:Roguelikes: 1 - Dwarf Fortress 2 - Cataclysm: Dark Days AheadResource/construction based: 3 - Satisfactory (sorry, Factorio fans) 4 - Valheim 5 - Minecraft or TerrariaRPGs with deep systems 6 - Divinity: Original Sin 2 or Fallout: New Vegas + mods 7 - Baldur's Gate 3Classics that I want to play from time to time 8 - Dark Souls: Prepare to Die edition 9 - BloodborneSome skill-based game that I'm never going to get amazing at, therefore infinite playtime:10 - Either some fighting game (Skullgirls?) or something like Crypt of the Necrodancer

Not a perfect list, but I probably would have enough stuff to play until I die :P

The circus continues 🤡.

This time, the judge Peinado (who has unsuccessfully tried for two years to send the Prime Minister's wife to prison), opened yet a new line of inquiry and said that she is at high risk for leaving the country, because "the status of Prime Minister is ephemeral and the police could help her escape".

Of course, the police has asked the judge to take that claim back, and even said they would sue for defamation if he doesn't.

At this point, one has to wonder how a judge can abuse his power like this for years, and no-one can do anything about it. Disgusting.

Well, he thinks criminals are such because they're evil or something. He thinks the only way to stop them is by creating a totalitarian state where he is God and everyone does his bidding lest they invoke his ire.

The thin veil of "making the world a better place" was lifted super early in the series, when he started killing people that weren't criminals, justifying it as "if they go against my plans they may as well be criminals".

He was never supposed to be a good guy. He's an arrogant piece of shit, and that's why he got caught.

PTB.I don't know who's in the right history-wise, and I appreciate pugjesus' posts and explanations.But in this case it feels to me like it was just an interesting argument until he decided to call you a dipshit and a moron (and then ban you). Smh.
