  • No idea who Gordon Ramsay is (web search says British celebrity chef) but why is this like the Onion? It just seems like regular enshittification.

  • They're all mine except Europa. That's the one place where I attempt no landings.

  • If you're 23 you should be able to see whoever you want. If that's a problem, you need more independence. Can you move into some kind of student housing?

Moving in with a guy who you've just started seeing could end up pretty badly, especially since the romantic entanglement can be even more disruptive than the dull grind of being with your parents.

Ideally you want to have your own living space while you date the guy. If after some time that seems to be working out, then you can consider moving in with him. I'm guessing that financial constraints prevent that. But in that case, how are you going to pay your daily expenses if you move in with him? If you're broke and he's paying all the rent, and if you feel like you couldn't easily go back to your parents if you needed to get away from the guy, then you're under his control, not good. I'm not particularly addressing the possibility of the guy being evil. I just mean the type of relationship you're describing can be stressfuleven with the best of intentions from everyone involved.

Is it feasible for you to take a pause from university so you can have a job for a while, get your own space and save up some funds? If you're 23 and not yet graduated, it sounds like you're taking the scenic route already, which is fine (I did that too).

  • I doubt you're banned. It's just flaky software.

  • I see 3 comments from you in that thread when I look on lemmy.world, but 4 on .ml. I've seen some issues with comment propagation between instances at times, so maybe check again later to see if they've shown up.

  • https://github.com/official-clockwork/Clockwork dunno if this is the strongest one but it explains what HCE (hand crafted evaluation) is.

Tbh I wouldn't say pre-NNUE Stockfish was really HCE. It used a lot of self-play and automatic tuning to adjust its eval between releases.

  • Adele Codeberg? She was one of the designers of Smalltalk, I thought. So I'm surprised to hear that about PHP.

  • Also Carl Mark Force IV.

  • Date a native speaker of that language for a while.

  • It's obviously not clean room since the original code was in the training data.

  • Smell-emitting diodes will become reality! Welcome to the future!

  • It looks like I have Google Photos disabled in Settings. Maybe that helps.

  • I have Fossify Gallery as my default image viewer but I'm still using the pre-installed Google camera app. Am I affected by this scanning? I haven't gotten around to checking out other camera apps.

  • What do you even mean by an alias? Just an alternate email address? How can they tell?
