  • They are. If it has free returns and thousands of feedback it’s probably a drop shipper. Return it and use the eBay label it ends up costing them money.

    I set up homeassistant with a bunch of smart switches and have moved mostly to motion sensing but being able to add a switch anyway cheaply is great. Or linking one to switch to many. Lots of flexibility.

  • Recently I ran into a new one. The pump had a screen, but instead of a tiny screen surrounded by buttons (one of which can be used to mute the video), it was a giant screen with no buttons. Ergo no mute button. I tried clicking around the screen but nothing worked. There’s gotta be a pattern though.

  • I have encountered flights in other countries where the airport security doesn’t require passengers to dump water while going through security. When flying to the US, they would inspect your bags on the jetbridge looking for fluids since security didn’t do it already. I’m guessing that was the scenario. It was also very easy to sneak water past as it was a manual check and not very thorough.
