  • so, this driver is delivered part of microsofts store system. linux app repos are vulnerable to library take over. there have been a few stories but this ine almost made it into red hads enrerprise lts

    https://youtu.be/aoag03mSuXQ

  • i'll take a shot.

    1. education: these are the pyramids of giza. this is what they used to look like.

    2. real eatate: generate an image of how the development of somethjng would look

    3. business: generate a map with detaled renederings of all their locations.

  • but fedora really is community driven. ibm (redhat) could disappear today and fedora would continue with out interruption

  • has not been immune to this type of attack. this is a trusted delivery mechanism being hijacked.

  • I am very exvited about this but i loved it because of its rules. it was very strict about the 18+ rule and was very good about banning.

i am realky hoping it isnt another furry vrchat clone. we need a place for adults to meet up.

they had open mic nights, people giving talks, people playing d&d, etc.

how do you this fitting in with your vision?

  • well, that answers that question. they need to figure out a better solution.

  • popularity is going to love them very very hard.

they need someone with a highlevel of resiliency experience. code hosting isnt normal web traffic.

i am curious what its hosted on

  • either i am confused or the people are behind this are confused. they want uk to be the home of open source so they eill create a government body to control it. do they not understand open source? it doesnt belong to anyone.

  • whoa.. wait a minute.. the bigger news here is that they are lumping in wikipedia. thats messed up

  • same in the US - hospitals first, private homes last. the commenter above you is talking about a ventilator at home

  • so letting a person own their own company is evil? we just hand it to the government?

this is about greed not capitalism... which is private ownership. our government is just as greedy

  • its silly, i use a phone but i dont want it made with child labor. there is no need to destroy the books.

  • i need something less furry orgy and more like altspacevr. altspacevr had genuinely chill places to hang out and was great abouy banning anyone under 18 or just obnoxious.

  • The Canadians did their job

no they did not. i would agree with you if all Canadian authorities did was search the computers but once they found nothing, it should have eneded. how do you convict a man with no evidence?

  • they went independent in December. i think its the new direction

  • this law doesn't cover this context. no warrant, no arrest, no lawyer. if police recrive a warrant for a house and the person on the warrant wiped his phone then he broke the law.

HOWEVER... graphene OS should NOT be a part of the conversation. we will have to putlaw toilets since they can flush away evidence.

  • i didnt have an issue either but the article was written yesterday

  • i really dont understand why people dislike game pass. i am mainly a pc player so i use it there but i also have an xbox. i have played so many games i woild have never tried and i live having the xbox studio games on release. i am a patient gamer so i always waited for a game to drop below $40. its nice having access to so many.

i honestly dont get the hate.

  • i am going to have to read this later. skimming it looks like it just tlks about ai's effect, which they say is little but dont go into what is causing the issue. again, its long and will have to deep read, its not a short read.

i am interested in this because despite talk online i havent seen ai actually disrupt jobs. sure companies use it as a boogey man when they lay off people but theu always did this in cycles.

the trith is, we live in very uncertain times and i think companies are going into defensive mode
