  • Finally a home for my pro-BRICS ragecomics that should never see the light of day

  • No, it isn't. -oid suffix is also used by a lot of people to mean like, ,"pseudo", like "humanoid", this is something my funny brain-poisoned third worldist friends say. & when it's derogatory it's no more spicy than saying cracker.

It doesn't mean "western R word" it means "someone who is spiritually a Westerner or above"—many English-speaking Filipinos on Twitter with anime profile pictures are Westoids. It does have usefulness.

I was called a Mongoloid in 4th grade due to not being hotdog colored so I wouldn't find that funny.

  • It is difficult for me to imagine what "freedom of speech" is exercised by journalists working at bourgeois news outlets after being subjected to the brutal process of classist elimination that is the capitalist schooling & university system, the intellectual apparatus of publishing & now social media driven by algorithmic censorship, all just to stay out of poverty, with the potential to ally with said ruling class via asset wealth.

To me, "freedom of speech" is not a laissez-faire attitude towards the press. Freedom of artistic expression is not letting people trace over drawings of trafficked children, like Neil Gaiman enthusiastically campaigned for on Tumblr and in court to his adoring young fans. Both are currently best experienced by writers + artists freed from a system based on deprivation & enclosure, enabled by a worker's state that actually works on the preservation of cultural production. In the future much better than that will be possible, I would like something like a "free" internet where everyone can just see each other's stuff.

But first we need to deal with the people selling monkey torture videos, and Pierre Omidyar-type people running limited hangouts like the Intercept

This was written in the bathroom while out for drinks with coworkers so excuse the brevity & lack of clarity I'm not proofreading

  • Unfortunately not, at this point the FBI wojaks are being played with like dolls by relatively ordinary westoids

    Situation:

  • Nothing much yet, I've hardly even used post scheduling. You'll see! Manual posts will persist as well throughout the next phase—can't help being chatty.

  • Very interesting, well the truth will come out, & trust me anything good + new I see around here makes its way out into the world ;) it should be its own post but as long as it's dated in the search bar I'm satisfied

  • Ah yes, watermelon emoji, Palestine flag, very nice.

Now ask them if they support armed resistance against the IDF violating & massacring people. Whether they support Israel's right to exist, whether they think settlers are civilians like anyone else.

You're simply not built for this are you OP? You would have figured it out years ago. If you "support Palestinians" you don't just cry about them being killed by a system you are complicit in. You at the very least support the political line of Hamas with regards to its ally & benefactor Iran.

That's what it means to actually fight back. Not just say shit online.

Fars News Agency: Iran central bank confirms Strait of Hormuz fees received in cash – PressTV [2026-04-24]

The clarification comes after some media outlets had claimed that Iran was collecting the tolls in digital currencies such as Bitcoin or other cryptocurrencies.

The income was received in "cash currency" and credited to the central bank's accounts, reflecting Iran's effective and transparent management of the strategic waterway, according to the report on Thursday.

The clarification comes after some media outlets had claimed that Iran was collecting the tolls in digital currencies such as Bitcoin or other cryptocurrencies.

The announcement also came as Iran's Deputy Parliament Speaker Hamidreza Hajibabaee announced that the first revenue from Strait of Hormuz tolls has been deposited into the central bank's account.

Speaking at a public gathering in Kuhdasht, Hajibabaee declared that the strait rightfully belongs to the Iranian nation and that no outside power has any right to negotiate over it.

"All ships passing through this route must pay tolls in Iranian rials to the Iranian nation as a rightful fee for using Iran's territorial waters," he said.

He issued a stern warning that if the United States persists with its aggressive policies, no ship will be permitted to transit the Strait of Hormuz.

"Two violating vessels have been successfully seized so far, and this number will increase as necessary to protect Iran's sovereignty," Hajibabaee added.

The deputy speaker described Iran's control over the strait as one of the great achievements of the nation's resistance against foreign domination, stating that US warships have been forced to retreat 200 kilometers out of fear of Iran's military power.

He noted that 20 percent of the world's oil and 35 percent of its gas pass through the Strait of Hormuz, and that Iran's rightful dominance over the waterway demonstrates the country's vital role in the international economy.

He proudly asserted that Iran has achieved the status of a global superpower, adding that no retreat from this honorable path is acceptable.

Any official who speaks from a position of fear or weakness and capitulates to US-Israeli aggression will be despised by the proud Iranian nation, he warned.

In a firm warning directed at certain regional states that support terrorist operations, Hajibabaee said: "Countries that provide hotel and airport facilities to terrorists to assassinate our revered figures should know that we will simultaneously target their airports, hotels, and their rulers in response to their hostile actions."

Hajibabaee firmly rejected any negotiations with the United States from a position of weakness, stating that talks can only take place after Washington admits its defeat in its ongoing war of aggression against Iran.

He said the US-Israeli war of terrorism had been threatening the region, but that Iran, under the wise leadership of martyred Leader Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei, has stood united and proud against American excesses and Zionist ambitions.

According to Hajibabaee, the United States has unilaterally sought an extension of a ceasefire after Iran's unified and dignified rejection of US demands.

"The United States, which until recently spoke the language of military threats and aggression, is now retreating in humiliation before the greatness of the Iranian nation," he said.

He said Washington is adopting contradictory and desperate positions, ranging from threatening to partition Iran to falsely claiming a role in decision-making, but that the US-Israeli axis of aggression has ultimately been forced to back down in disgrace.

Hajibabaee described Iran's peaceful uranium enrichment and its defensive missile capabilities as the undeniable and inalienable rights of the Iranian nation, saying these sovereign capabilities will be strengthened day by day.

    If the bible was AAA

  • How do we get you glib mfs to stop pretending Obama & Biden didn't build these camps

  • I mean, it defeats the point of crypto for you, which is a replacement for the US dollar in speculation. It has enormous utility to these states, which are using it to negotiate currency transfers without the US Swift system. It's literally just for use by governments, and reversing the transactions would be a diplomatic incident. Maybe you're on to something about why hostile parties could not use it, though. I don't know much about crypto technically like I said before.

I don't know if the State Dept being able to claw back coins counts as "reversible" to you but it effectively allowed them to steal much of the proceeds from the drug selling.

  • Remind me what permissionless means in the context of crypto? Is that related to using BTC for tolls?

My point is The Silk Road proves holding BTC isn't appropriate for evading US authorities

  • The image may offend him in hell, it's true. I can abide it or I wouldn't've posted it

  • Hmm I can't find any. If it turns out to be fake, they've done enough in the past like this that I'm leaving it up for #cloutfarming purposes

  • Occupy and Wikileaks had a role in diverting US activists towards ineffective means of struggle, & were spun off into movements that were used to + directly contributed to threaten states the US considers enemies. I think the Iranian govt is foolish if they really intend to treat bitcoin is money, but it looks like it will just be a payment method negotiated at gunpoint, so there is no chance of the money being clawed back by the US fgovt + prvt banks. China is setting up a cryptographic ledger thingy (I'm not a crypto guy I watch #thebarrels) for states to securely organize bilateral currency agreements, but I'm guessing that wouldn't be an option for this kind of thing? At least not at this stage?
