  • The game was a physics sim designed and a game engine as a platformer. It's wasn't easy to run even on PS3.

  • I don’t think RCPS3 has a proper name. But yeah, LBP has been this games name for me for so long that I don’t think I’ve called it anything else.

  • LittleBigPlanet, though I can't think of other games with the acronyms with LBP is in for PS3.

  • Pokopia is a subcategory of Pokemon. What kills it for me is that the game is Switch 2 exclusive. So I might get to try it in a decade.

Mystery Dungeon is still my goto favourite Pokemon game. Combat is back set, exploration top priority

  • For me it was Pokemon.

Started in order and got the games new as they came out since DPP. The core of the game to me was exploration, Pokemon, then battles. However over time Battling got more and more popular to the point where the game just became boring. This was Black and White for me.

I hoped it would get better with each release, but it was Sun and Moon where I just couldn't care any more. After that I tried a game here and there. But nothing ever went back to that core of Exploration, new Pokemon the battling.

  • What I miss about this era of portable gaming was that it was:

    1. Portable

    2. Fun, pocket games had a different design ethos around it. Longer play sessions were allowed since you can play it everywhere. But it never made you feel like you couldn't put it down since you might have to drop what you were doing to make your next connection. It's why I think Pokemon has been so successful. Outside of the elite 4, you could pause at any time and moment with no penalties in your game.

My recommendations for unique games for those who want them.

Pixel Junk Monsters - Tower Defence

The Sims 2 - Seriously a fun adventure game in the theme of the Sims.

Patapon 1 or 2 - Rythem adventure game

EveryDay Shooter - Twin stick shooter

  • If I am right I don’t think Pebble watches has Bluetooth LE, it has the ability to broadcast itself but once connected uses Bluetooth. The OS doesn’t expose LE so I don’t think getting the signal strength is possible

  • Yes Pebble OS is now open source, however I think adding RSSI might only work on newer devices, since classic pebbles are just Bluetooth and Bluetooth le. Though they may have Bluetooth le as a part of pairing?

Still a fun experiment and a good way to see why Bluetooth headphones actually are as reliable as they are.

  • The issue is:

    1. PebbleKit JS - doesn't have access to the sound or vibration motor on iOS. Since Apple blocks that functionality unless it's directly interacted with via the user

    2. PebbleKit iOS - Might pull it off but you'll need a separate app on the App Store, however the Pebble watches are just Bluetooth so no guarantee that you'll get a reading.

    3. iOS Apps are $100/year to keep up, and for that functionality... not worth it.

There are already apps which do this on Android and works without issue.

  • Wow this article was not informative and their links are broken.

This is the support article they are referencing: https://www.amazon.com/gp/help/customer/display.html?nodeId=TY9Z4zZ7vgVwLA0b7C

    This is the changes

A-la-carte game purchases are no longer available. Previously purchased titles will remain playable through June 10, 2026, after which they will be removed from Luna.

Bring Your Own Library will no longer be supported. Games previously played in this manner will no longer be playable on Luna after June 10, 2026.

Ubisoft+ and Jackbox Games subscriptions sold through Luna are discontinued. New subscriptions are no longer available for purchase, and any active subscriptions purchased from Luna will be cancelled at the end of your next billing cycle.

Third-party game stores (EA, Ubisoft, and GOG) are being removed from the Luna platform.

    For the refund

Can I get a refund for games that I had previously purchased?

All purchases of a-la-carte titles through Luna are final, and we do not accept returns, except as expressly stated in the Digital Products Return Policy. However, you can continue to access your purchased titles through your linked third-party platform account. If you have questions about a specific purchase, please contact Amazon Customer Service.

EDIT: Looks like Amazon Games app might not be included with this, but I not 100% unsure.

  • Good night sweet prince

  • How does it feel to touch? It feels good it’s a bag. The plastic makes it feel stiff but yeah it’s nice.

Is it durable? No clue, feels like it is but I can’t tell until I’ve used it for a while. That said, the plastic nor the stitched edge on the plastic isn’t going to be the weakest link.

  • It’s the learning cad and having good special awareness which really benefits it. Not many others doing this

  • They are Polydry boxes. And I don't dry by beads often enough. Though we haven't hit summer yet here. So I can't say how well they seal. Should be good though since my oldest box kept 15% all winter.

  • I think 40-50% we just got off winter

  • I don’t trust anything Nintendo sells digitally. They don’t understand (or have a toxic understanding of) digital ownership and takes active steps to limit how you can use your digital games.

On Wii/Wii U/3DS you didn’t own your games, you console did and good luck if it ever broke/died.

On Switch they finally move it to your account, but since the Switch 2 release you can’t play your games on another system without an active network connection. And no way to move the license to another console without them having an account or an internet connection.

So while it’s nice to see Nintendo adjusting its prices, I think they’re trying to back out of the corner they put themselves in. I don’t see this as a reduction of digital prices, but rather a return to normal prices and a tax on physical games.
