  • Similarly, I was clearing out old, embarrassing emails from 20+ years ago and came across a conversation I had with a young woman I was trying to impress. She mentioned Scientology and how much it “just made sense” to her. I agreed, that was the only religion I could see myself following.

  • Silo is one of the best shows I’ve seen but I loved the books so I’m a bit biased. One of the rare shows/movies that are super faithful to the source material with just enough changed to stay interesting.

  • I may be a bit thick but aren’t PS5 games mostly just PS4 games? I had a PS5 for almost a year and I was constantly making jokes that it was the best PS4 I’d ever owned.

  • The wife and I started watching The Expanse like last week. We’re somewhere in season 2 and that reference was enough for me to go trying to figure out where I heard it from recently. Other comment got me to remember but yeah, wild to see a reference to it in the wild for some reason.

  • I've been searching at local used bookstores and haven't had any luck. I remember picking it up because my family was going on a trip somewhere and had my Game Boy taken away for it. I devoured the first 3 books instead of doing any trip stuff. I vaguely remember the story but somehow really remember the ending.

  • I'd love to! Those things are expensive now though. My old Pi is running my Pi-Hole now. If they were affordable, I'd buy a whole ass pallet of them for all the projects I want to do.

  • Yeah, my TV doesn't have Tizen as far as I know. I found that jellyfin-tizen app and tried manually installing it but my TV is about 8 years old now.

  • My only hitch making the switch to Jellyfin is that a couple of my TVs just don't have a jellyfin app whatsoever. I wish they did, I can't stand all the changes Plex has made over the last few years specifically.
