  • It's amazing how all of my Genesis, Playstation 1, and Dreamcast games still work, as will work as long as I have the game and console and they are in good condition. But that isn't guaranteed for a game I buy next week.

  • I believe they were called "candy dishes" at the time.

  • Two great blogs I've found through Mastodon:

Both blogs have an RSS feed, and they post on Mastodon when a new article is up. Those two have accounted for almost everything I've bought on Bandcamp recently. Mastodon in general, and the #bandcampfriday hashtag, are great sources.

I also started buying physical media lately. Lemme tell ya, the guy behind the counter at the record store knows everything. EVERYTHING. All bands. Who toured with whom. He is the human scrobbler. Get to know him.

  • This looks so cool. I hadn't heard of the Sinsekai area before, I assumed this was something out of a movie at first.

  • I've never played it either, but I remember it getting a ton of attention at the beginning of the Xbox 360 generation. I think it was an early game to use the "Games for Windows" branding, too, so Microsoft was advertising it everywhere.

  • I have not needed to eat for three weeks. I am sustained by pure synergy now. I exist in the infinity of time and space and AI chatbots, perfectly connected by the ultimate quarterly objectives.

  • Those look great! And having it with potato soup sounds delicious.

  • Always nice when things go smoothly! Is the maintenance window because you have servers hosted on site?

My workplace was completely optional, only come in if you want to since 2020, until three weeks ago. Now it's required two days a week. In the meantime, I don't have a car anymore (haven't needed one for a few years now), and it takes 90 minutes to get there on the bus.

    Cory Wong - Starship Syncopation

    • Moon Knight #3

    and...that's it? Guess that's it.

  • Thoroughly freckled, nearly alcohol.

  • I see what you mean. I was introduced to them a little later, for me it was Brothers and El Camino, and this album is still quite different from those. But it grew on me, too. In fact, a some of their newer albums -- this one, Let's Rock, and Dropout Boogie -- have been at the top of my rotation lately, moreso than the older albums. Maybe because I've heard the other songs so much already.

  • That's a nice looking setup, and a great album. A nice change from their earlier albums while still sounding like The Black Keys.

  • Looking forward to those, too! They're been releasing one per month for the Dark Knight reprints. #1 was in February, #2 was in March, #3 comes out next Wednesday, and I don't think there's a date for #4 yet but it should be sometime in May.

Picked up some Batman classics that I haven't read before

  • They look great. They even fit the overall aesthetic of the keyboard.

  • I love the somewhat formal design on the cover, it's a nice change from the minimalism that most of my other daily items have, and pairs nicely with a fountain pen. The paper is great for fountain pens, too. Very smooth, but still dries reasonably fast.

I'm definitely liking the A6 size so far. I also have the same notebook in an A4 size, and it's like these two are the perfect combo.

  • Me neither. And I... have it on Steam, apparently?

  • That looks absolutely incredible! Being able to move the columns up and down is such a great idea, and the exposed PCBs and exposed ribbon cables look amazing. Are those custom keycaps, too?

  • This is the only sincere youtuber apology video I've seen. Good for him.
