  • I’m more of an Aldi guy but I’ll give Lidl a go. Here’s the link to the cloud company for those interested:

  • I’m sure they’ve just got well-trained media faces. Let’s not go nuts with the conspiracies, this isn’t Xitter.

  • I hate this argument every time I see it. It could be used to justify so many terrible prejudices that we’ve been trying to get rid of for decades. I got robbed by a black man once so should I now treat all black men as potential criminals?

  • I thought season 2 was kind of bad. It was like they didn’t realise what made the first season good.

  • Or if it’s not something that’s valuable to you just do it the easy way.

  • It doesn’t say anything like the headline, it just says that if you’re living for the weekend you probably don’t like your job and should find a new one.

  • This one sounds like bullshit. I doubt even the president has the power to launch nukes by themself. I don’t think there’s some codes somewhere that can be used like a password to launch nukes.

  • Speaking French like a native is so hard. They basically smush every word together into one long sound. I think the French also may not just say “two croissants please, you need to stick a “je prendre” in front or something. I know people who speak fluent French who still can’t speak to the locals in certain places because they can’t understand you unless you get the accent just right.

  • None of those features are of interest to me. I wouldn’t use them even if they were free.

  • My wife just ordered some new curtains and poles about two minutes ago, and I’ve used it as an excuse to buy a laser level. Finding this post a few seconds later is surely a good sign.

  • I work in cyber security and I have lots of smart home things. I also assume my network’s being compromised at all times and keep anything really important on paper in a safe.

  • Earl Grey is fucking dogshit.

  • They’ve been under pressure in the EU to tackle fake reviews. Might be something to do with that.

  • My mother-in-law’s parents really wanted a boy and they were going to call him Nicholas. When she was born her mother wouldn’t look at her and didn’t want to name her, so a nurse suggested Nicola as she’s a girl, and the mother just shrugged and said okay.

She uses her middle name as her first name now. She did actually make up with her mother while her mother was on her deathbed, it was all frantic and wills were rewritten and all sorts.

  • Actually, every grain of sand could have around 45 billion IPv6 addresses.

  • That looks great.

  • In Morocco when they sacrifice a sheep for Aid (Eid) all the men in the families just take the sheep to the roof of the apartment block and hack at the sheep with a blunt knife until it dies. None of these guys know what they’re doing and the other sheep watch their friends getting hacked up while they wait their turn. I’ve never seen it myself but I’ve got a friend who’s been a couple of times and she says it’s brutal.

  • I hate to say it but they would wouldn’t they. You can’t expect it to suddenly be up there drawing the same crowds. Men’s football didn’t happen overnight.

  • I used to know a guy in the UK Conservative Party (nice guy actually) and he told me that there was an expectation of them to maintain good relations with the US Republican Party, even though they had far more in common with the Democrats.
