  • A way to create some mitigation of this issue can be done using a service like Njalla or Porkbun where you can make the account annonomously and pay in xmr. Sure, all the bullshit signups are still tied to a single domain but that domain isn't tied to anything.

  • Lol that's not the question at all. People are making this into a false dichotomy. This is not a question of install denuvo or use the HV crack. Don't do either. Period.

    These are both terrible for security. HV is worse as it goes deeper into your system and requires you to turn off a bunch of critical security features for it to work.

  • This seems like a bad faith argument, the crack is basically installing a rootkit in your system. Its fair to assume a lot of casual users will be as ignorant as you are about the security issues and not re-enable the features.

    If you truly can't see why that might be worse then DRM installed in a game your a fool.

    There is also a live sports stremio addon that is supposed to drop soon if you aren't comfortable with IPTV. Although the discord says its going to be $5 / month which is pretty expensive compared to what you can get IPTV for on G2G or Alibaba (for example I pay $30/yr and there are cheaper options then that)

  • All of your criticisms have nothing to do with privacy or security. Some of them, like what you said about mullvad, is rooted in fud. Which tells me we have different priorities when it comes to browser choice.

    I will agree the brave shit is annoying but hopefully Brave Origin will fix that. Their fingerprint and tracker protection is undeniable though.

  • Now that SecureBlue has made Trivalent available with its selinux architecture that should be everyones go to if your on a Fedora based system.

    I'd take Mullvad or Brave on Windows over this

    I'd also use Safari over this for anything in Apple ecosystem
