  • Yeah but I'm not even asking for that. I literally want a "start recipe" button... I enter each ingredient in separate text boxes... Optional "instruction" box to paste the instructions... Later I decide "on Tuesday let's have home made pizza, then on Wednesday we'll do beef tips and noodles" and I click a check box or type in recipe name, system sees ingredients I previously entered for that recipe and adds it to grocery list.

No web scrapping or parsing needed. I will enter the ingredients for each recipe but I only want to enter it once

  • True and I got that. Everyone can be a good person or an evil person, regardless of what's in your pants or who's in your pants

  • Ok so I got the name totally wrong.

  • Kinda...im suggesting people should love the person they love because they love them, not that they hate other people.

Also ironically there is nothing in screenshot to say "straight" maybe it's two gay guys and one of their nicknames is princess or two women... No way to know based on the screenshot

  • Yeah but then I don't get to make Microsoft spend money...

  • Do you know of anything that does this? I'm kinda tempted to sketch out a plan to do it myself but I already have a totally different project I'm working on and struggling with.

  • Yeah like you have to swear on a Bible to testify in a court in us. The Bible doesn't really matter, it's basically just a ceremony to ensure you know that you must tell the truth, the whole truth and nothing but the truth.

  • One thing I wish one of the grocery list apps could do was to store recipes, then you choose which recipes you want that day/week/month whenever you go shopping, it's smart enough to know if 3 recipes need flour only put flour on once, then go through and mark ingredients you already have.

Like I can put in a recipe for penne alla vodka or fettuccine alfrado then if I select penne alla vodka it adds : Penne pasta Vodka sauce Heavy cream Mozzarella cheese Parmesan cheese Sausage

Etc to the list. Then I say actually I already have heavy cream and mark it as not needed.

  • I forget the women's name, it was Olga something I think. Her boyfriend was killed by nazis so she spent her entire life savings and bought a "medium" tank for herself. She then offered the tank to russia for free under the condition she could drive it. They agreed.

She did boot camp and tank school, wrote "girlfriend's revenge" on the side and went to war against the nazis. I believe she climbed the ladder up to tank commander.

  • I read the article but it doesn't specify what are "legal rights"? They obviously can't sue. They can't go to jail. I guess you could "deport" them but isn't that on the receiving country rather they accept them?

If it's simply "you can't kill them or destroy their habitat" there are lots of examples of that.

Not against the bees, we should work to have more bees worldwide but this headline means nothing and doesn't even offer an explanation in the article.

  • While I support people to find what ever relationship makes them happy, choosing a relationship type based on "that other group must suck" sounds like a horrible way to be.

You want to be in a poly bi relationship great, go do you. But being like "I choose this because the others must be worst." seems toxic and hurtful.

  • If you hate your friends partner, buy their kid a drum set 😉

  • I've been considering just making a spam email vs my regular email. I know there are "temporary" email services but they don't always apply. For example you are at a store and the say "you get a 5% if you give your email" and you want to use one of those one time emails what are you supposed to do? Stand there, take out your phone, "one sec, let me just spin up a email address to give you".

Thinking of just creating a email account on say hotmail(just for the lols) and direct everything likely to spam me there. There is the argument "they will still track you and sell your data to advertisers who will send spam to that account". Yeah but 1.why do I care if I never check the account? 2. If I use Hotmail all it will do is cause increase cost to Microsoft so double win?

  • Shit, I didn't even notice that till I read this and went back to re-read my original message.

  • Not exclusively... Also gays, lesbians, women, people with more than 2 brain cells, handicap, Medicare receivers, basically anyone not in the 0.001%

  • Atleast it will create jobs... For grafitti artists

  • I love the idea but the thought of debugging such a thing is making me search for a large cliff near me
