I actually have relevant experience here! I broke my arm in middle school while playing soccer and ended up getting a couple plates and screws in my arm as a result. I had to go back to the doctor a bunch of times to see if I needed to get them removed since there was a chance that it could have impeded any further growth as I was still an adolescent. In the end though, I didn't need them to be taken out and I have lived with them in my arm ever since. I can feel them under my skin along the outside of my forearm if I feel it just right.

...anyway, I am glad they are looking forward and thinking about what comes after high school. Chokki-chan is graduating real soon, right? So, I think it behooves them to try to make things official soon.
