  • Apparently they made 1 other game called Clockwork Empires. Never tried it though, and from the looks of the steam reviews, it might not be worth it to try.

  • It was pretty fun. I don't remember having too many issues, but I suppose that's not the experience of everybody. (Especially since the studio ended up closing.)

  • Sad to hear. It was fun little game. I really liked the balance they struck between making things silly and still interesting to play. The game is also filled with references to other media and games. They also added a lot of quality of life things, like filtered crafting and autolooting, while not convieniencing away all the fun.

  • I bounced off from it when trying it on release. For some reason I had a lot of stuttering and it made the game feel nauseating, but I liked the gameplay. Not sure if that was a problem at release or my hardware has some issues. Other games seems to be ok, and my gpu is definitely not that bad.

  • Did you also play the expansion echoes of the eye?I'm doing that right now, didn't find any difference yet, but I'm replaying through the game for the first time since a few years.

  • When I was living in Europe, I was basically using anything but phone. Usually email worked or support via the website. Now in Australia, the support via website/email is very often not functional, so I'm forced to call people.

Can't say it's an enjoyable experience, but I suppose it's teaching me to try and do more via phone. I struggle a lot though.

  • Yeah exactly.Usually I try online support first, but in some situations you get a person that doesn't understand your question or doesn't forward you to somebody with the right knowledge and you still spend way too much time on it. Calling would be better in that case, but it's hard to know beforehand.

It also stresses me out that they have these chatboxes on websites, where (after trying to find the correct response to get a human) they will take 10-15 minutes to reply you, but then if you don't reply within 2 minutes, they assume you are no longer there and close the chat. Why even?

  • Unfortunately not on iOS here, that sounds like a great feature though.Did you ever have people hang up when using that? You just get a notification as soon as somebody starts speaking?

  • Depends, some do, many don't.Once I had to wait for 50 minutes for ikea support, then when they picked up, they just immediately dropped the line.Had to call again and wait again...

  • Sounds very similar to my experience.Email is much better, but some services either don't offer the option at all, or they reply to it very slowly.

  • Yeah, it just feels so exhausting to me every time. I definitely prefer the callback option, but I might still miss it if they call back much later and I already forgot about it. Then I have to call again and ask for a new callback.

  • That looks very cool actually. A bit overkill for what I need though, I think. And I guess the shipping would make it a bit expensive.

  • Normally I would not change it very often.Does it also have a timer? Just like 1 hour long?Or would I have to adjust every time I want to set a 1 hour timer?

Now just to find one with a reasonable price. The GBD-200 seems quite nice, but I would prefer more affordable if I can. Not sure if there are a lot of options with vibrating alarm.

  • Wow thanks, that's great!

  • I'd be happy to post any questions I have there. I tend to be online very infrequently though, so it might not be that helpful.

  • That sounds pretty good!Is it fast to set an alarm?

I would probably not use the bluetooth function, but did you try it? Do you think it impacts the battery life a lot?

  • ok, that makes more sense. So basically just copy the post content in a new post to the other community.

The only disadvantage I can think of is that piefed is supposed to combine the comments of cross-posts to other communities right? Does that feature also only work with link posts?

  • Thanks, would be nice to see this in the future. So for now, should I just copy the link of my post and post it as a link post to other communities? Will that cross-post correctly?

  • That's a good idea, I'll try that!

  • Watches @lemmy.ml

Looking for a watch? That supports multiple vibrating alarms and doesn't require frequent charging

  • Fediverse @lemmy.world

This may be a stupid question, but how do you decide in what community to ask questions?
