  • What aboutism? Is it in the room with you now?

  • US is falling?

  • Awesome, more trickle down for the rest of us, right. Right?

  • Unless its widely acceptable at least through EU, it won't work. The value expiration is also a concern, somehow something messes up and you loose the amount.

  • Self hosting is not for average Joe. Even for skilled people is quite some work and maintenance.

  • Then deals evaporation is accepted risk.

  • Sure, but that only means that contracts are not that good in first place.

  • How can they walk away from contracts?

  • The problem with this metric is that it doesn't include Ukraine losses. By itself doesn't tell much.

  • Yep, I feel you, it's quite a bit different philosophy compared to VS. However, if you use other Jetbrains products, it helps that they share a lot of features so you eventually grasp the different approach. And sure, if VS Code is good enough for you, great.

  • I really see a beautiful protest with "yeah, we can and we are doing it, but you bad". China will merely say what about you? And then?

  • Enlighten us, on what grounds can west protest the genocide in China?

  • With China being a nuclear country, military intervention is out of the question. If we omit the question how strong China actually is. So the only option left is political and economical pressure and sanctions. Which will never happen. Also, as said, west doesn't have a problem with genocide, perhaps it's useful when our "enemies" commit it, so we have a leverage, no matter how weak it is.

  • The biggest problem here is that the west can't say shit, as China is too important and we have even more genocide by our hands 🤷‍♂️

  • Makes sense then.

  • At least Slovenia as well. Not sure whether because of the same issue or not.

  • Yep, but times have changed I'd say. But in reality, yes, there are several reasons, like mentioned search for content. But even if great search was there, it'd go only as far since the lack of content. All in all it feels like catch-22 situation. There is also no support for chromecast devices (or is there) where one would open app on chromecast and roll the videos.

  • They are waiting for Wi-Fi 8 :)

  • Rider here for serious work. It's also free for non commercial use if that works for you.
