  • For child toys that beep I used to put some tape on the speaker holes. But my kid used to take it off. You can cut a wire or desolder, but my simpe fix was a glob of glue directly on the speaker it turns it down like 80%. So some sound, but definitely not as annoying.

  • Just wait until you have to remove some old slotted screws! Phillips are great compared to them. My house was build in 1925, I think slotted was the only option back in those days...
