  • @innervisioner @knitting Thanks! It's actually a free pattern called "Double Eyelet Rib Toe-up Socks" by Wendy D. Johnson that seems to have been discontinued since I knitted it the first time!

    They do look fairly similar. Only so many different things you can do with basic eyelet lace, I guess 😀

  • @ConfusedOrder @utopify_org Hah, I stumbled across this convo on Mastodon side and can see the issue. Basically for whatever reason, the original post is missing from this thread when viewed in Mastodon. Hence the confusion!

    Your top-level comment looks like it's a standalone post rather than a reply, because the OP isn't there. But it looks different to all the other "posts", because it's not one!

  • @magslhalliday @knitting Oh no! I used to live in fear of something like this with DPNs and had visions of dropping them and having them roll down the whole bus. Big part of the reason I learned to just do everything magic loop instead! 😅

    Bet you looked really pro recovering from that misstep though.
