  • The manga reading app kotatsu is shutting down, the repo is archived. What are some alternative?

  • was a Kotatsu user as well. Right now, I am using Aniyomi for both anime and manga, so you should try it or its forks out, just like the others are suggesting.It doesn't come preloaded with the extension extensions though, so you'll have to manually add them.

    can't blame you for taking it on me, I was so insensitive to the situation.I thought like the predator problem was normal on every platform, but at least there is action being done against it.Did my bit of research, and I know better now. i would like to apologise that you had to see this on the memes today, I realise that it isn't funny at all.

    That said, I am honestly surprised how DC got away with it. and they aren't keeping their members in check... like, how? aren't they supposed to get sued for inadequate child protection measures or something?

I apologise for my lack of sensitivity on the situation.You've just alerted me about the predator problem on Discord, which is so massive, I think I might consider leaving the platform now... or at least, stop checking as often as I used to...

    just to be clear, yes, I posted this to the memes sub because I thought it was funny that the admin crashed out.but thinking it through, this is actually a serious case. I wasn't aware of how bad the predator problem on Discord was. Children younger than 13 are joining the platform and are getting exposed to all sorts of things nowadays.

    i apologise to anyone for my lack of sensitivity of the severity of the situation, and for posting this as a meme.

    honestly, I just posted this here for funnies. i didn't get a single word what the mod said towards the end.

    but yeah, you're right. should've just included in the rules about "no sexual jokes", and ban people who violate it. case closed. sometimes, moderators can make much ado about nothing really

  • @CodenameDarlen@lemmy.world and plus, most of the time, when you're buying indie games from steam, they're drm-free, so you can play them offline, run them without steam running in the background.

    honestly, I have no more hope in the AAA games, since it will be the same game over and over again with different skins or slight UI tweaks. there's nothing much Steam can do at this point, because it's the business model of these companies in the end. It's time to give back all the money wasted on these AAA games to indie titles now, it's well deserved...​:bilibili_dianzan:​
