I'm just a teenage dirtbag, baby 🇵🇸

  • Congrats on the streak!

For reaching your goal weight, I recommend cronometer.com. It's super easy to track your nutrition because you can easily copy and paste individual items or entire days. It also shows all the macro and micronutrients.

Btw what games do you want to check out? I got a gamer PC relatively recently so I also started checking out a bunch of games that I couldn't run before.

  • sleep schedule basically reasonable, trouble actually getting out of bed though

I always put my phone as far from the bed as possible so when the alarm rings in the morning I have to get up and walk across the room to turn it off. This completely removes the agony of forcing myself to get out of bed which could otherwise take forever. It's a very simple trick but very effective. Btw which book did you read? What are your batch meals?

  • This week I tried a new habit where I read at least one page of a book after my afternoon nap. It was a success, I did some reading on 5 days. It worked because I'm reading a non-fiction book that you can read just a few pages and get something out of it. I will try to do this regularly from now on.

Overall it was a decent week, aside from reading I also did some meditation and went running on 2 days.

Also, I found a cool website - Open Food Facts - that provides info about food products. It describes how processed the food item is, what is its nutritional quality, how bad is it for the environment and so on.

  • That's a great habit, apparently we should get early morning sunlight in order to increase early-day cortisol release and regulate your circadian clock.

  • These pantry moths are fucking with my karma smh. I'm never gonna escape the cycle of saṃsāra at this rate

  • Hell yeah, I'm glad to hear that you're already back on the horse so quickly. Good luck with your sobriety and keep us posted in the thread about your progress!

Btw I recommend writing a journal, it's good when you are trying to figure out what is triggering your behavior. If you get a craving, you can write down where you were, what you were doing, how you feel, what you were thinking about and so on. Eventually you start noticing patterns and then you can predict what situation triggers a craving in order to avoid it.

  • This week I went jogging for 2km every day from Monday to Thursday. I do it in the morning during my work break. I think it's a good way to start the day. I'd like to make it a permanent habit and go at least 2 or 3 times per week.
